ABOUT TRISH
From a young age, she faced heartbreak and loss. Growing up in the Midwestern United States, she lost her birth mother when she was only a year old, and later her loving grandfather—the one who raised her. Along with the deep pain of losing family, a betrayal by someone she trusted only added to her sorrow. These early hardships left her with wounds that would shape her life.
In her teenage years, the challenges grew even steeper. An
attack by a co-worker plunged her into a spiral marked by drugs, alcohol, and nights spent in unstable places. When she married and became pregnant with her first child, the weight of her struggles nearly drove her to run from
everything. At her lowest point, as she was ready to leave her husband and family behind and head into an uncertain future, fate intervened.
In a quiet moment of desperation, she discovered a long-forgotten Bible tucked away in her nightstand drawer—a Bible that had been given to her at her high school
graduation but had never been opened. As she began to read its words, she felt a spark of hope and a sense of purpose that slowly began to mend her broken heart.
It was at that moment that her guiding message was born,
offering her the strength to rise again.
Her journey of transformation truly began while reading
through the Book of Genesis. She learned that she was a cherished creation, made with a purpose from the very start. Embracing this new understanding, she started attending church and joined Bible study groups, where she discovered more about God's love and the sacrifice of His son, Jesus Christ.
Step by step, she turned her deep pain into a source of hope and renewed purpose. For over 40 years, she has ministered to women in the United States and beyond, sharing her story and showing them that hope and purpose are always within reach.
Her ministry has inspired countless women to find strength in the word of God and the "safe space" she provides to rekindle their inner light. Since retiring, she has turned her experiences into written words. Having authored four books, including the moving series titled Love in a Drawer, she continues to share her story,
inviting others to build an intimate relationship with God and to always "Look Up" toward hope.
Today, through Looking Up 24, she stands as a guiding light, continuing to reach women via internet and the Word of God.
